Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

A client in the Spokane area is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This person will be working on a team of 3 designers, a Senior Mechanical Engineer, and an Electrical Engineer. They will be responsible for supporting customer projects around custom design and proto@type requests. This will include taking concepts through the product lifecycle from concept, design and prototyping to a finished product.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a production environment

Experienced taking designs from concept to production

Solidworks, PDM, FEA

Familiar with mil-aero specs & how to read them

Experience leading design reviewing with customers in a stage gate process

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Thermal/Structural strength analysis experience

Experience modeling dynamic systems

Project Management experience

MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-810 understanding null
