Title: Manufacturing Engineer II Weld - 115222

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer Weld for JD Thibodaux located in Thibodaux, LA, you will:

Mentor entry level engineers within the business unit

Have ownership of weld departments and ensure business goals are met

Contribute to the welding process strategy and smart connected factory road map

Provide project management leadership in capital projects with a focus on safety, productivity, and capacity

What Skills You Need

4 or more years' experience in a welding manufacturing environment

4 or more years' experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

4 or more years' experience with problem solving and root cause analysis

Project management experience - Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on sequencing and scheduling tasks into a project plan

Demonstrated skills with electronic tools such as Creo, Creo-View

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and have a collaborative mindset

Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs

What Makes You Standout

Robotic welding experience

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both salary and wage employees

Experience managing and applying safe systems of work without supervision and providing technical guidance when required

Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks without supervision and provides technical guidance when required?

Welding Engineering degree

Demonstrated skills with dimensional inspection software

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

?Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience
