Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's team in Eugene, Oregon. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations within their manufacturing environment. This position requires an individual with strong GL and month end expertise, along with expertise in credit, collections, and cash management. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes while fostering growth and collaboration. This role comes with one direct report an comes with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee credit, collections, and cash management processes to ensure financial stability and compliance.

Supervise general ledger activities, including month-end close procedures, to maintain accurate financial records.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, delivering insights to support strategic decision-making.

Lead and mentor the accounting team to encourage growth and operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial operations.

Develop ERP systems to optimize accounting functions.

Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes with precision and efficiency.

Conduct auditing activities to identify and address discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for scaling financial responsibilities as the company grows.

Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to streamline reporting and data analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing general ledger and month-end close processes.

3+ years of supervisory experience ideal.

Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.

Strong knowledge of GL., month end, credit, collections, and cash management practices required.

Expertise in financial statement preparation and auditing.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.

Effective communication and leadership abilities to guide teams and foster collaboration.

Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the company expands.
