Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will contribute significantly to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close processes. Your expertise will help drive efficient financial reporting and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.

Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.

Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses to support business decisions.

Utilize and maintain accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries and provide support.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

Leverage advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis.

Support audits and other financial reviews by providing documentation and detailed explanations.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

Familiarity with accounting systems like NetSuite or similar platforms.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Strong knowledge of general ledger and reconciliation processes.
