Radiology Medical Scheduler

Large hospital network is seeking experienced medical scheduling representatives to join their specialized radiology scheduling team!

Description

As a Radiology Scheduling Representative, you will oversee patient scheduling for appointments, outpatient testing, procedures, and exams. You will have a solid understanding of insurance eligibility, perform updates and corrections for insurance information, and evaluate the medical necessity of procedures for Medicare patients. You will work closely with insurance verifiers to authorize scheduled patient services and maintain up-to-date documentation on patient accounts and eligibility. Your compassionate engagement with patients regarding their responsibilities for copayment, prepayment, and outstanding balances will be crucial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
