Total Talent Management (TTM), a unit of UW Human Resources, is seeking a Recruiting Operations Manager to join their dynamic Campus Recruiting team.
About this Opportunity
The Recruiting Operations Manager is responsible for managing Total Talent Management - Recruiting's day-to-day operations, assisting with continuous process improvement, and supervising a team of Human Resource Consultant Assistant 2's and student assistants with supervision and support from the Director of Campus Recruitment.
The Operations Manager will respond to or triage questions and issues that escalate from the recruiting team and HR partners, propose opportunities for process and program improvement, and lead change efforts. These responsibilities require a high level of customer service excellence, the ability to understand complex and often sensitive information, and strong relationships with colleagues across the enterprise. They also require expertise in HR policy and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and manage change. They will use data to propose and implement process improvements and to monitor and adjust team workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for routine recruiting operations and hiring process issues and escalate concerns as needed.
Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency. Develop new workflows to support emergency initiatives and compliance requirements.
Create, maintain and monitor project plans and project schedules. Organize and facilitate stakeholder and project team meetings. Document and follow up on important actions and decisions. Prepare meeting agenda, notes and other necessary presentation
Supervise HR Consultant Assistant 2 and student assistant positions.
With director, develop data-driven approaches within recruiting. Produce reports and utilize existing UWHR and institutional data to inform decision-making and utilize key performance measures to track improvement on improvement on recruitment, TTM and UWHR priorities.
In partnership with the director for campus recruiting, manage team selection and hiring processes and coordinate on-boarding for new team members.
Participate as TTM-Recruitment representative on assigned UWHR University work groups and implementation teams.
Manage staff visa processes.
Model and support growth in UWHR's Professional Competency areas (see below).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a field that emphasizes evidence-based approaches to decision-making and process-improvement such as human resources, business, education, public policy, or social work.
Two or more years of experience working in human resources and work experience that includes experience leading projects and/or teams.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience implementing policies and practices to support equitable and inclusive hiring or HR services.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office functions and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
Proficiency with project management and analyzing data to prioritize work and inform decision-making.
Experience identifying and addressing opportunities to improve administrative or customer service processes.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Hybrid, in an open office space, at least two days per week.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The Recruiting Operations Manager must be willing to participate in a background investigation to help administer the University's Select Agent and Radiation Safety programs.
Campus Recruiting is a fast-paced central administrative unit. Peak work periods and emergent operational needs can require more than a 40-hour work week.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

$72,000.00 annual
