The performance marketing specialist will work collaboratively with our team to build, manage, optimize, and evolve our paid search and paid social campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies, continuously monitoring and optimizing campaigns, and providing expert guidance to both leadership and internal teams.

Your role extends beyond the day-to-day management of campaigns. You will be expected to uncover actionable insights, develop innovative processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Amazon Autos' digital marketing efforts. This will involve collaboration with various departments, such as creative, business development/growth, and dealer/seller success teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to performance marketing. Additionally, this role will require some collaboration with centralized Amazon teams.

As a performance marketing specialist, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices. You will leverage this knowledge to create compelling ad copy, optimize landing pages, and develop targeted keyword strategies that maximize ROI for Amazon Autos.

Pay-per-click strategy: Develop and execute data-driven PPC strategies using keyword analysis, A/B testing, and campaign optimization. Uncover actionable insights to maximize ROI and continuously monitor campaigns to ensure alignment with Autos goals.

End-to-End Campaign Management: Own the implementation of strategies across Meta and Google platforms, ensuring attention to detail, while taking a data-driven approach. This could mean everything from developing and managing regional Meta and Google campaigns, to testing new creatives or copy, to making recommendations for future campaign optimizations or structures.

Landing page optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to create new and optimize existing landing pages for optimal performance (quality scores, CPCs, relevance, bounce rates, etc). Provide strategic guidance and direction for landing page development across various content management systems, such as LEGO and Content Symphony, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and best practices.

Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to inform new and existing campaigns. Monitor search term trends and utilize tools such as Google Keyword Planner to identify high-value opportunities. Develop and implement new campaigns from the ground up based on keyword research findings.

Campaign Reporting: Monitor and speak to regular performance reports on Meta and Google campaigns, focusing on KPIs. Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing business intelligence dashboards to monitor campaign status, troubleshoot as needed, measure success, and provide data-driven updates and recommendations to Head of Performance Marketing

Ad Creative Direction: Work with creative team to influence the design of ads based on learnings to drive improved response, ranging from testing new formats, creative directions, or copy concepts.

Ad Copy Creation: Work with Copy team to craft engaging, positive, and authentic ad copy for ad platforms, adhering to best practices and platform-specific constraints. Develop ad content that highlights the unique selling propositions and differentiators of Autos. Write compelling landing page copy that maximizes visitor engagement and leverages quality score opportunities.

Data Analyzation: Examine campaign data to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy and drive the development of new processes. Implement these processes efficiently to enhance PPC performance continuously.

The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere. Driving quality traffic through paid search and social ads is at the heart of this role. This role requires you to be a person who can quickly get to know our business well and build strategies that increase our online visibility as measured by traffic and taking high-value actions on Amazon Autos. You will be required to spearhead new campaigns, find growth opportunities through campaign optimization, quantitatively assess data and pull out insights, and push your strategies forward in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

1+ years Google Ads experience.

1+ years Meta Ads experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Website Development, Digital Media, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of agency experience

1+ year experience automotive marketing experience

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
