Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for machine start-ups

Be the responder to all machine, robot, TCU and secondary equipment alarms.

Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency

Fix machine, mold, and material problems

Report to Production engineer any difficulties or problems requiring special attention.

Responsible for the accurate completion of paperwork.

Responsible for all die change activities

Responsible for maintaining the appearance of all TCU's, Robot Control Stations

Ensure proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purgings.

Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions)

Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations

Other duties as requested. Follow established company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety laws. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.

Make required machine and equipment control adjustments to maintain proper quality and cycle efficiency

Support the development of Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)

Experience:

Preferably 3-5 years of experience in the injection molding process and tooling (including tooling qualifications and fixing), or equivalent.

Preferably experience in process validations and adjustments through IQ, OQ & PQ.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

The employee will work in close quarters and may occasionally be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, loud machine and vibration. The employee may regularly work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
