Maintain accurate financial records of seed conditioning, treatment, and related operations.
Process AR, AP, General Ledgers, Month and Year -End Closing, Corporation Credit
Card, etc. in compliance with accounting and financial policies and procedures.
Reconcile accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial data
Prepare reports for regulatory agencies and assisting with audits
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets specific to seed conditioning and treatment processes.
Analyze costs associated with seed processing, chemical treatments, and equipment usage to identify efficiencies.
Track inventory levels of seed, chemicals, and conditioning supplies.
Manage asset records related to conditioning equipment and treatment facilities
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying,
computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data and bank deposits.
Analyze payments received based on total loss allowance and payment terms to give direction for Upper Management.
Monitor daily transactions, perform ACH transfers and prepare checks on a weekly basis.
Maintain monthly A/R and A/P aging.
Perform month-end, quarter-end, year-end financial close tasks as assigned including preparing and review of general ledger entries, balance sheet account reconciliation and accruals.
Work closely with farm managers, line supervisors, and operational staff to align financial practices with production needs.
Job Requirement: a Bachelors or Equivalent Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Economics.
