Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking an Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills to integrate and test Submarine Combat System components. What you will be doing:

Working on site in a classified lab environment to coordinate with multiple hardware and software development teams on the delivery, integration, and system of system testing for new submarine combat system capabilities

Integrating and testing applications in a cloud environment

Interface testing of hardware and software components

Support testing of development simulations

Interfacing with customers to facilitate technical collaboration, system integration efforts, and test coordination

Developing and maintain comprehensive test documentation and procedures to support System of System (SoS) testing

Perform test and evaluation efforts to validate C5I system requirements and ensure operability

Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software-related issues, verifying and validating bug resolution

Leading efforts to resolve issues occurring in integration and test events

Location: Working onsite at Electric Boat in Groton, CT

Salary ranges between $70,000-$110,000, dependent on experience, qualifications and other relevant business criteria.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*

3 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, integration and test activities, or US military operations

Must be willing to work full time on site in a classified lab environment supporting Navy Submarine testing and operations

Self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working on Submarine or other Department of Defense combat systems

Experience integrating and testing applications with a focus on developing complex technical solutions for large-scale projects

Experience with hardware interface testing

Operational experience on board US submarines, specifically with Combat System Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (e.g. System Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field) or at least 6 years of work experience in a technical field

Familiarity with shipyard operations and processes

Experience with Linux command line, computer systems, and switch architecture

Experience with Agile software development processes and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
