We are looking for:
A Key Account Manager
We will count on you to:
Understand and apply the sales strategy and promote the value proposition for Syensqo's specialty polymer products and execute Market Growth Programs.
Act as a key contact point for OEMs and end users and educate them on products, applications, and trends.
Identify, investigate, and follow up on qualified leads and develop business for potential new customers with key OEMs and end users in the Semicon markets.
Evaluate and propose innovative solutions for customer problems and collaborate with internal resources (technical development, R&D, application engineering) as needed to meet customer requests/demands and ensure issues are resolved.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other internal resources.
Update the Account Development Plan (ADP) and the Key Account Plan (KAP) as needed to include Bus Dev (BD) and Dev pool pipeline growth to enable financial roadmap growth support.
Deliver top line sales consistent with the budget and contribution margin targets.
Develop, negotiate, and monitor contracts, pricing and terms for new & existing business opportunities.
Maintain and continuously improve knowledge about products, applications and markets in the industry.
Provide information to the Marketing team on trends and developments, including proposals for action.
General account management duties of forecasting, complaint management, credit support, etc.
Coordinate the review and approval of legal documents (NDAs, Code of Conduct, Supply Agreements) and other compliance documents.
You will bring:
BS/BA degree in materials, chemistry, engineering or a related technical discipline.
4+ Years of experience in a commercial/business position in the Semiconductor industry
Strong familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing process, equipment design and materials requirements.
Knowledge about semiconductor industry and growth drivers is a must
Ability to educate customers/colleagues both on the technical and commercial side, and communicate/present well in a succinct and compelling way
Excellent initiative, autonomy and enthusiasm
Strong desire both to learn and to share knowledge
Ability to develop strong relationships with impact at every level in customer organization from the fab floor to the executive suite.
Experience and ability to work in a global matrix organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
Preferred: Experience working for Semicon tooling manufacturers or working on tools in a fab is highly desirable.
Preferred: Demonstrated track record of successful sales/negotiations, key account management/business development and internal/external relationships at multiple levels within the organization.

Competitive salary and benefits package
The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $108,000- $135,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
