What you'll do...
As part of the Growth Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will be focused on our Spruce brand, leading the strategy and execution of paid marketing acquisition to acquire Spruce clients. This involves responsibility for the coordination and management of the growth marketing acquisition plan and all aspects associated with the plan - audience definition, marketing channel selection, investment recommendations, creative consultation, approvals, reporting and analysis. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Spruce Market Strategy Director to ensure the business strategy flows through to the growth marketing plan. Additionally, this position will support the Spruce Market Strategy Director in organizing and planning a series of integrated marketing strategies that may encompass a broad scope. In this capacity, this role will collaborate with the Spruce product development teams and other internal stakeholders where appropriate. This role will play a critical part in the growth of Spruce with a focus on paid marketing acquisition while also supporting integrated marketing strategies.
Day to day you'll...
Lead the paid media planning for Spruce acquisition by collaborating with both internal teammates and external agencies
Partner closely with the Market Strategy team to craft integrated marketing plans while also coordinating activities across Marketing and Product teams
Analyze performance data daily. Report on the performance of paid media campaigns to Senior Leadership, including observations, insights, and recommendations for enhancements to improve overall effectiveness
Collaborate and communicate with agency and internal teams to create a high level of awareness of marketing programs, strategic alignment and successful execution
Report on the performance of paid media campaigns to Senior Leadership, including observations, insights, and recommendations for enhancements to improve overall effectiveness
Deeply research and understand Spruce's competitive environment and also the Marketing landscape. Expected to proactively bring new ideas to the table for testing
What you'll bring to the team...
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ years of experience in paid media marketing and creating integrated marketing plans. This can include expertise in marketing channels such as Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, and more
Experience in successfully navigating highly matrixed organizations
Strong communicator with exceptional project management skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Motivated individual who consistently takes initiative and proactively seeks out opportunities to add value beyond core responsibilities
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, use of data to drive decision-making, and crafting data into a meaningful story

Experience with marketing financial services / banking products
Experience operating in an agency/client relationship role

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range
$89,800.00 - $134,700.00/Yr.
