Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $82,000 (bachelor's degree) with a one-time $6,000 signing bonus or $100,000 (master's degree) with a one-time $12,000 signing bonus.
Position Overview:
Passion for technology meets keenly managed business processes in the Eaton Development Program - Information Technology. This two-year rotational program consists of four, 6-month assignments. This development program is strategically designed to expose participants to different core IT areas with the goal to provide diverse experience supporting Corporate IT teams drive innovation, scale AI responsibly, and champion a customer-first mindset. Development is accomplished through a variety of on-the- job experiences, professional networking and business learning.
The IT function is broad and this program will provide you with experiences which form the backbone for service delivery at a premier industrial diversified manufacturer. Throughout the program experience, participants will rotate through roles such as:
Cybersecurity Analyst
Cloud Engineer
AI Engineer
Data Engineer
Functional or Application Analyst
After completion of the program, your technical expertise combined with your newly acquired business acumen will get you ready to take on larger challenges within the Information Technology function including technical or people leader opportunities.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM or business field from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August 2026
Minimum of one internship/co-op experience or an equivalent 3 months of IT work experience completed at the time of this application
Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States

Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in management information systems, computer science, computer engineering, data science
Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
Previous internship or co-op experience in leveraging AI/Machine Learning, UX design, Cloud, Cybersecurity
Understanding of Python language and applications
Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community

Proven technical ability through coursework and work experience
Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desire to build a career in information technology
This role may include travel (up to 25%) within a local region and/or internationally as determined by the Information Technology assignment manager
Demonstrate geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration and completion of the Rotational Program to an Eaton facility including (but not limited to): Beachwood, OH: Raleigh, NC; Pittsburgh, PA; or Southfield, MI
