Reporting to the Director, FP&A Systems and Cash Management, this pivotal role will drive the strategic application of data analysis, advanced analytics, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools, with a primary emphasis on Tableau and emerging AI capabilities, to revolutionize critical FP&A processes. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with constantly evolving data challenges and priorities.
As a lead data steward and administrator for FP&A's dashboarding tools, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring robust data integration, consolidation, and efficient refresh cycles to provide timely, accurate, and high-quality data. You will act as the first line of support for complex data-related queries and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for the broader FP&A team.
The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan) combined with exceptional data analysis skills, advanced proficiency in Tableau, and a strong foundational understanding or practical experience with AI/ML concepts in a corporate finance environment.
Your Impact:
The candidate will have a proven track record of strong collaboration and delivering transformative results, with a passion for leveraging data, BI, and AI technologies to drive superior financial processes, modeling, reporting, and strategic analysis.
Serve as a lead data analyst, acting as the primary point of contact for complex data troubleshooting and strategic support to the broader FP&A team, ensuring data accuracy and system performance.
Design, implement, and maintain robust data integrity protocols across disparate systems, ensuring consistently accurate with actuals, data hierarchies, cost centers, product codes, general ledger accounts, and other critical financial dimensions
Lead the development and implementation of advanced, interactive dashboards and compelling data visualizations using Tableau, transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, from operational teams to executive leadership
Proactively analyze the FP&A team's current reporting and analytical ecosystem, identifying and leading initiatives to leverage advanced data analytics, automation, and exploring the application of AI/ML for predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, and process optimization
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for FP&A users on data literacy, effective use of Tableau dashboards, and leveraging system capabilities to extract optimal insights
Perform sophisticated ad hoc financial modeling, in-depth quantitative analysis, and specialized reporting, often involving complex data manipulation and statistical interpretation
Your Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience or equivalent military experience is required.
Minimum 8+ years of experience with financial systems used for planning and reporting (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Tableau (Tableau Desktop & Server/Cloud), including complex dashboard design, performance tuning, and data source optimization.
Strong expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and interpreting large, complex datasets to derive actionable business insights.
Solid foundational knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
Proven experience in requirements gathering and translating complex business needs into technical data stories, with a strong understanding of data quality assurance, reconciliation, and validation. Ability to build and demo sophisticated proof-of-concept reports and analytical models.
Advanced SQL skills (GCP BigQuery, Oracle, or other relational databases) for complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Familiarity with or practical experience in applying AI/Machine Learning concepts to business problems, particularly in areas like predictive analytics, forecasting, or anomaly detection (e.g., Python/R for data science, understanding of ML algorithms).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights and technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Highly motivated and driven, a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, competing data-driven priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong aptitude for working with large, unstructured datasets and identifying critical patterns.
Strong understanding of data governance processes, data modeling, and best practices for ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $116000/YR - $188000/YR.
