As a Principal Manufacturing Engineer your overall responsibilities will include:
Developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods
Analyzing product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support customer requirements
Developing, testing, modifying, and creating solutions through a collaborative effort with various stakeholders
Additional responsibilities include:
Leading factory wide strategic improvement projects
Managing large scale design, control and improvements to the manufacturing process
Developing Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool and fixture designs
Establishing engineering design requirements tailored to manufacturing processes
Supporting manufacturing areas daily with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP
Leading Non-conforming Material Analyses and Continuous Improvement efforts
Providing real-time technical support to in-house and supply base stakeholders
Developing influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience creating technical documentation
Experience leading teams or projects
Qualifications We Prefer:
Knowledge and ability to apply CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with technical writing
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE)
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and keeps pace with advances in technology
Ability to work in a team environment with strong organizational and presentation skills

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
