Advanced Manufacturing Project Manage
rwho will be all-in on our mission and who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation of project activities related to the revitalization of Amarillo Colleges advanced manufacturing programs. This position will lead the development of new work-based learning courses, competency-based curriculum, and culturally responsive curriculum for the advanced manufacturing programs. Responsibilities will include focusing on course redesign by supervising the enhancement of program courses to ensure alignment with current industry standards, collaborating with target faculty, business and industry partners, and incorporating I-BEST supplemental instruction into program courses.
This is a Grant funded position. Continued employment is contingent on grant renewal and funding.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required:Bachelor's degree.
Preferred:Masters degree.
*Masters degree may substitute for years of relevant industry experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Required:Two (2) or more years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing or in a higher education setting with an industry-related focus.
Preferred:Experience in teaching or student services within K-12, higher education, or adult education settings, along with experience in budget management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage funding software, processes, and procedures to meet expenditure and reporting requirements.
Oversee and coordinate collaboration among target faculty, Amarillo College staff, and Business Leadership Councils (BLCs) to revitalize the advanced manufacturing programs.
Integrate evidence-based practices into course redesign.
Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum aligns with the needs and expectations of employers in the advanced manufacturing sector. Co-lead BLCs with Career Navigator/Employer Liaison.
Assist and support target faculty members in designing, updating, and refining competency-based curriculum for the advanced manufacturing program.
Assist in developing new courses, workshops, and training modules to enhance the overall quality and relevance of the program.
Work with Amarillo College staff to supervise the equipping of technical education classrooms/labs and to coordinate faculty training on equipment.
Support target faculty in developing new work-based learning courses in collaboration with AC staff.
Collaborate with Amarillo College staff and faculty to ensure holistic student supports (e.g., supplemental instruction, work-based learning, career development) are embedded in advanced manufacturing courses.
Maintain records and assist with project evaluation and serve on the Monitoring and Evaluation (MET) team.
Conduct comprehensive inventory of all Title V equipment and supplies, and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic records to ensure seamless reporting and audit readiness.
Monitor achievement of project objectives and report progress to the supervisor.
Coordinate with the Project Director, project staff, and Amarillo College faculty/staff to support the institutionalization of grant outcomes.
Oversee pilots of redesigned or new target courses.
Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner (e.g., time and effort, monthly and quarterly progress reports, MET, and data reports).
Stay current with advancements in advanced manufacturing technologies and trends to ensure curriculum reflects industry best practices.
Implement technology-enhanced learning strategies into course redesign and train/supervise lead faculty in applying high-impact practices.
Communicate regularly with the Project Director to ensure compliance with grant guidelines and to monitor and report on grant deliverables related to Initiative 1 for revitalizing Advanced Manufacturing programs.
Execute course redesign efforts in accordance with the timeline established in the Title V Grant and engage in annual external evaluation and MET monitoring.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
