Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing team in Warsaw, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational growth. Your expertise in multi-entity accounting and attention to detail will drive efficient processes and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable functions, including processing vendor invoices, verifying documentation, and ensuring timely payments across multiple entities.

Manage accounts receivable by preparing customer invoices, monitoring aging reports, and reconciling payments accurately.

Perform month-end and year-end closings, including account reconciliations and journal entries for various entities.

Maintain accurate financial records for related LLCs, including intercompany transactions and compliance with payroll and tax requirements.

Support cost tracking and inventory accounting processes to ensure accurate valuation for manufacturing operations.

Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and reports, collaborating closely with the Controller.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and financial regulations across all entities.

Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial systems and multi-entity management.

Provide support during audits, tax filings, and financial reviews, ensuring thorough documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing, payment, and operational issues effectively.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, including expertise in accounts payable and receivable.

Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions is highly preferred.

Experience in the manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in month-end close processes, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex financial operations.

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities to collaborate across departments.

Knowledge of accounting software and systems, with experience in manufacturing-related platforms being a plus.
