Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading SaaS and technology company specializing in cybersecurity, where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in general accounting and Oracle Fusion ERP.

Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Prepare and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.

Conduct detailed account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Manage fixed asset accounting and ensure proper accruals are recorded.

Generate financial reports and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.

Perform in-depth balance sheet reconciliation and analysis on a monthly basis.

Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual financial audits.

Utilize Oracle Fusion Financials to streamline accounting processes and maintain compliance.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, including public accounting or Big 4 experience.

Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger accounting.

Strong skills in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

Experience with fixed asset management and accrual accounting.

Familiarity with Oracle Fusion extremely important.

Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis.

Ability to collaborate effectively with external auditors during annual audits.

Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance standards.
