Company Urgently Hiring Construction Laborer!!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team in a role that involves general labor, heavy construction, digging, and site work. This position plays a crucial part in our ongoing projects, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the community's development.

Responsibilities

Monitor quarry crusher machines and conveyor belts, sorting out metal and plastic debris from the crushed stone.

Maintain and organize the shop and garage.

Power wash and rinse the tires of outgoing trucks.

Help load and unload materials from trucks.

Uphold site safety regulations.

Essential Skills

Experience in site work and concrete construction.

Ability to perform heavy construction tasks and general labor.

Proficiency in operating equipment and machinery.

Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with mechanical and diesel operations.

Experience in testing, inspection, and sampling.

Work Environment

This role operates within an 80-acre quarry in Prospect Park, NJ, specializing in recycling and resale of aggregates for construction materials. The work environment includes running crusher machines, sorting debris, and working with a skilled team. The position requires working from 7am to 3pm, with a focus on maintaining site safety and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prospect Park, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
