Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT DIVISION, NMCLANT UNIT of NMCLANT UNIT NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will perform and supervise a variety of work in administrative support functions. You will perform and supervise work related to directives, correspondence, forms, mail, evaluations, data storage and retravel, reports, supply, orders, equipment maintenance, and travel. You will perform work related to Government Credit Card and Government Travel care management for assigned civilian and military personnel. You will accomplish a wide variety of assignments concerned with effectiveness and efficiency of the programs of the Unit and its operations. You will as a Command Security Coordinator advise the Commanding Officer and Director on command policy, directives and procedures affecting all aspects of personnel and information system security. You will perform all aspects of supervision, planning and assigning work, setting priorities, developing training plans, Performance Plans, assessments, and Individual Development Plans. You will develop, monitor, and coordinate command administrative projects involving researching applicable instructions, collecting and compiling data, and investigating all pertinent sources of information both within and outside the command. You will serve as the Unit point of contact for all questions or issues regarding Unit administrative programs and ensure administrative program effectiveness. You will perform and supervise clerical and administrative functions for Naval Munitions Command Atlantic (NMCLANT), Unit Norfolk including awards, security clearances, evaluations, training, civilian time sheets and professional development. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
