Job Description Summary
The individual selected will serve as a Lead Counterintelligence Specialist supporting the counterintelligence (CI) and insider threat (InT) programs within GE Aerospace's Industrial Security Operations (ISO). Responsibilities include assisting with the management of CI and InT requirements of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and accountable for policy and procedures, risk mitigation, intelligence analysis, and CI and InT education, training, and awareness. The individual will work closely with the CI specialist for GE Aerospace's commercial business. Additional duties may include but are not limited to ensuring compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material as required by the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Essential Responsibilities: Contribute to compliance with all government regulatory requirements for CI and InT programs, with particular emphasis on threat detection, analysis, and reporting aligned to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

Role Overview
As a Lead Security Specialist, you will support GE Aerospace's counterintelligence (CI) and insider threat (InT) programs within the Industrial Security Operations (ISO). This role is on-site and involves managing CI and InT requirements under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), including policy development, risk mitigation, intelligence analysis, and education and awareness initiatives. Your work will be critical to ensuring compliance with government regulations and protecting classified materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify foreign threats, conduct analysis, perform risk assessments, and complete special projects as required.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Prepare and present high-quality work products orally and in writing that are clear, concise, and well-supported by evidence.
Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft 365 Apps and OSINT tools.
Complete multiple tasks and projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
Collaborate across business units to facilitate discussions and solicit diverse perspectives.
Build a professional network within the US Government and relevant industry peers to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities.
Follow relevant policies and standard work associated with threat analysis and risk assessments.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or at least two years of experience in the US Government 0132 job series or military intelligence.
Practical exposure to counterintelligence concepts.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance.
Professional demeanor with excellent speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
Capable of engaging with all levels of the organization and working independently with minimal daily supervision.
Frequent travel (up to 20%) required, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and executing risk assessment methodologies.
Familiarity with commercial data analysis tools and software.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Established project management skills.
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
