Summary You will serve as a Lead Program Analyst in the Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption Responsibilities You will serve as the primary Command interface with assigned suppliers and will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated strategy to improve business relationships between those suppliers and NAVSUP. You will coordinate and consult with NAVSUP Senior leadership to ensure an integrated approach across the supplier portfolio. You will work closely with department leads within NAVSUP to monitor demand, performance, and supply data, including pursuing programs for continuous process improvement between parties. You will be responsible for overall planning, direction and execution of the Department's programs and services for Strategic Supplier Management (SSM). You will provide advice on work methods, practices, and procedures and assist the team in identifying the parameters of viable solutions for issues. You will lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload among employees and making adjustments to priorities as needed to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying expert knowledge of supply chain management policies and procedures and providing cross-organizational and problem-solving support to the mission and supply operations of shore and afloat activities. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Setting priorities and determining project requirements and strategies to effectively monitor project progress and accomplish project goals and milestones; 2) Analyzing data, synthesizing results and developing courses of action to improve supply chain performance; 3) Coordinating with supply management teammates and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to resolve problems and enhance strategic opportunities; and 4) Utilizing interpersonal skills for delivering high caliber customer service and team collaboration and providing technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management.
