Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Scottsdale, AZ: Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, and GIT; Node.js; JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Frameworks: Angular and React; REST; Kubernetes; Google Cloud Platform (GCP); MySQL and SQL; Typescript; Object-oriented JavaScript; Writing application code and deploying to production; Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases; Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; and Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and proto@types based on end user feedback and human centered design.

Pay Range: $105976.00/year to $140000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
