Paralegal - Labor & EmploymentAlbany, NYFusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join our client's team in Albany, NY. The Paralegal will support our client's Labor Group by performing a range of legal, administrative, and client-facing tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time, direct hire position.Duties and Responsibilities: Provide paralegal support to attorneys in the Labor Group, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. Draft correspondence, memoranda, and legal pleadings with high accuracy. Organize, manage, and maintain complex case files and documentation for active matters. Coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties as needed to facilitate case progress. Assist with timekeeping and billing using Sage Timeslips (preferred). Maintain deadlines and monitor calendars to ensure timely filings and responses. Conduct factual and legal research and summarize findings. Participate in client meetings and conference calls, when appropriate.Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in labor/employment law or litigation. Associate's degree or higher; a Paralegal degree or certificate is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with Sage Timeslips is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under deadlines. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, yet collaboratively within a team environment.Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
