Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role involves managing accounting processes, maintaining strong internal controls, and preparing accurate financial reports to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, technical accounting expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations within the Accounting department, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Apply advanced knowledge in technical accounting areas such as fixed assets, lease accounting, cost accounting, freight, and cash management.

Mentor and develop the Accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and ongoing growth.

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls and drive continuous improvement across accounting processes.

Direct the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and reports for all organizational entities.

Coordinate and manage interim and year-end financial audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and data essential for strategic business decisions.

Establish and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures for the department.

Perform other related duties as needed to support organizational objectives. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with progressive leadership responsibilities.

Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and audits.

Solid skills in account reconciliation and journal entries.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to mentor and lead a team effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
