Job Title: Account Director
Job Summary:
The Account Director is senior account leader that is responsible for managing and growing a positive customer relationship, leading the account team, managing the EFS business profit/loss for the account, and ensuring high quality performance and support to the customer. They are responsible for all aspects of the relationship including ensuring maximum operational success, growing the account, driving client service levels, profit, and revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build favorable client relationships and ensure retention and growth of the clients' business. Manage the operations and performance of the assigned clients. Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and performance objectives are completed to satisfaction. Troubleshoot client issues and initiate action to ensure client satisfaction. Conduct governance and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) meetings. Develop and maintain a positive relationship that supports open dialogue
Manage the dedicated staff assigned to the account. Provide the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of performance of associates at all client sites. Foster a positive work environment. Interview, hire, and train new leaders. Ensure processes are in place to efficiently hire new quality personnel. Manage the review process and engage in associate development. Ensure all teammates meet the expected standards of performance and behavior and with support of HR, take appropriate personnel actions
Manage all account financials to include, but not limited to profit and loss management. Understand and manage all costs to the account, customer billing, and invoice processing. Ensure all fixed costs, labor, materials, and subcontracted work are billed accurately, timely and in accordance with the Master Service Agreement (MSA)
Understand the details of the MSA, the scope of each service line and the work that is performed. Ensure the account team is qualified to deliver quality results. Have a general understanding of equipment and buildings components to be able to effectively provide long term direction to the account
Ensure processes are in place and the culture exists for the account team to effectively interact with EFS support functions so that business is accomplished as smoothly and effectively as possible. These groups include Finance, Safety, HR, Procurement, Transition, ECSC, EMCOR Field Operations and Project Management Office
Ensure commitment to environmental health and safety within the account by adhering to safety practices, investigating concerns and making recommendations. Ensure all account team members have completed required safety training and are following safety protocols
Ensure compliance within all accounts to all fiduciary aspects of accounts they are responsible for including proper purchasing, billing, travel procedures. These will include processes used to purchase material and services for the company and the customer. Critical to that is insuring the organization understands proper use of these processes to insure customers are not over/under billed or company funds are misused
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and facilities management
BOMA, IFMA, LEED Certifications are a plus
Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
Requires use of MS Project, Word and Excel. Experience with Enterprise Software and CMMS required. Experience in building operations and knowledge of building equipment

Must be experienced in managing in a healthcare environment (experience working with and maintaining joint Commission accredited medical facilities.
Ability to lead managers in completing company processes including performance review, hiring, performance improvement and sustaining culture
