Department: Applied Technologies

Full-Time Instructor Electrical, Construction and Maintenance HV-FAC-8810

(Position Is a full-time Tenure track Position) Spring 2026

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance from an accredited college or university and four years hands-on experience in an electrical construction and/or maintenance related (or) Bachelor's Degree in Career and Technical Education from an accredited college or university plus two years of hands-on experience in the electrical construction and maintenance field (or) Bachelor's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university and an Electrical Journeyman's Certificate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The Electrical Construction and Maintenance program is looking for a full-time instructor that specializes in the areas of residential and commercial wiring, with knowledge of alternating and direct current theory, motor and industrial controls, and solar/photovoltaic systems. The Instructor reports to the Department Chairperson of Applied Technologies and performs the following duties:

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Instructor will report to the Department Chair and perform the following duties:

Provide instruction in Electrical Construction and Maintenance at the college's North Campus in Malta NY. Evaluate student performance. Participation on departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported. At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary for Fall 2025 academic year position is $52,500.00.
