Description We are looking for a dedicated Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Pecos, Texas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers while promoting a range of banking products and services. As part of our team, you will provide exceptional support both at the teller window and beyond, ensuring customer satisfaction and seamless banking operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers by processing banking transactions accurately and efficiently at the teller window.

Promote and market a variety of credit and non-credit banking products to individual and small business clients.

Build and maintain strong account relationships through proactive communication and personalized service.

Open new accounts and guide customers through the application process for consumer loans.

Address inbound customer inquiries and resolve issues related to banking services.

Utilize banking software to manage daily operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experiences and support branch goals.

Handle cash and check transactions securely and in accordance with established procedures.

Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on banking products, services, and operational policies.

Provide support during Saturdays on a rotational schedule. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a banking or financial services role.

Proficiency in banking software and familiarity with daily banking operations.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently.

Knowledge of banking products, services, and transaction processes.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to branch success.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Availability to work varying hours, including rotational Saturdays.
