Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Specialist, Logistics opportunities in MISSOURI CITY, TX. Responsibilities for a Specialist, Logistics include but are not limited to:

Provide logistics support including order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination.

Maintain customer profile information and enter load details into the Freight Optimizer system.

Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition.

Communicate with account managers, receivers, and customers regarding load status and issue resolution.

Take check calls from drivers and validate load data for delivery and accounting purposes.

Investigate and document product overages, shortages, and damages.

Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept or decline loads per account manager direction.

Provide clear routing instructions to drivers and support warehouse operations as needed.

Assist with billing tasks and general customer service inquiries.

Candidates for Specialist, Logistics must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Minimum 1 year of logistics experience

General knowledge of the transportation industry

Strong customer service skills and ability to work in high-volume environments

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Capable of following written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Shift: Mon-Fri | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Details: $18.25 per hour
