As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will be responsible for managing access points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with all individuals on site. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
What We're Looking For:

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
