concrete accelerants and manually place and tie rebar in the proper area
prior to or concurrently with concrete placement. - The tasks performed
to place concrete as well as the tools and equipment used. Rebar pins
would be placed by sledgehammers so that concrete is placed at the right
elevation. Workers will hold the pump hose in proper position so that
concrete is pumped to the right area. Workers will use concrete rakes to
push wet concrete into the right spots at the right elevation. The rebar
pins are then further pounded into the ground to conceal them under the
wet concrete. Workers then use a vibrator to remove the air pockets from
the concrete and help consolidate the concrete. Next, vibratory hand
screeds and/or screed board are used to eliminate low and high areas.
