Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) for the NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT NASHVILLE. Responsibilities You will identify gaps or inconsistencies in human resources records. You will perform clerical support (e.g., typing, filing, data entry) for a human resources office. You will update customers on the status of requested information. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Using computers and software to perform basic automated functions 2) Preparing reports or briefs to submit to management; 3) Maintaining files, records, or forms. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
