Job Description

The Accounts Payable Manager collaborates closely with senior leadership to oversee the company's disbursement operations, with a focus on invoice reconciliation, expense coding, bill payment, and vendor relationship management. This role does not involve initiating payments directly, but rather ensures accuracy and compliance in the processing and allocation of expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Communication & Invoice Collection

Proactively contacts vendors to obtain outstanding invoices (e.g., following up with office AR teams at labs or dental suppliers when invoices are missing).

Serves as the first point of contact for vendor inquiries related to payment status (Tier 1 support).

Invoice Processing & Expense Allocation

Receives, reviews, and processes invoices through Ramp.

Analyzes invoices and vendor statements to allocate expenses to appropriate location-specific accounts.

Vendor Account Management

Leads vendor account transitions during company acquisitions, ensuring continuity and accuracy.

Monitors and tracks credit balances, volume discounts, and payment terms with key vendors.

Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting

Identifies and resolves discrepancies or issues related to invoices, payments, or vendor accounts.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 1+ years of accounts payable experience

Very detail-oriented - this is my top priority

Maturity - Experience in accounts payable for multi-site companies a plus

Bachelor's Degree a plus

Healthcare industry experience a plus null
