Job Title: Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist

Job Description

The role of Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist involves identifying and driving operating efficiencies through contractual agreements, providing labor relations support to employees and leaders across the organization, and fostering a positive workplace culture and environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure equitable administration of the collective agreement, including grievance administration, interpretation, and overall compliance.

Facilitate effective management/union relations.

Administer attendance programs and discipline assessments.

Run attendance reports and gather information to compile presentations with trend analysis.

Conduct EEOC and other workplace investigations.

Coach, guide, and provide direction to operating management on assigned shifts.

Implement lean manufacturing activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field.

2+ years of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in labor relations in a manufacturing setting.

Knowledge of Human Resources Information System and reporting tools.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Highly proficient in Microsoft applications.

Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.

Experience with collective bargaining agreements, conducting investigations, and managing conflict.

Knowledge of G-Suite applications.

Work Environment

The role involves engaging effectively with other HR team members to accomplish objectives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
