A growing lifestyle brand based in Encinitas is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This company blends creativity with commerce, and they're looking for someone who can bring structure to the numbers while supporting a vibrant, entrepreneurial culture. What You'll Be Doing:

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Maintain general ledger accounts and support financial reporting.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts.

Support inventory accounting and cost tracking.

Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure accurate expense coding.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Requirements

2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods.

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

A collaborative spirit and a willingness to learn and grow.
