As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to restricted areas.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or alarms at any time during the shift.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
Level III Armed Certification required for positions in Texas.
Valid driver's license required for positions subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
