Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Finance & Administration (F&A) Team in Kirkland, WA .

Job Summary:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be crucial in providing comprehensive administrative support to the F&A Leadership Team and other F&A personnel, including those in the IT and Legal Departments. Reporting directly to the VP, Finance & Administration, this role will also act as the primary back-up for the front desk receptionist, covering daily breaks and vacations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide specialized administrative support for internal customers to relieve them of complex details and advanced administrative duties, including IT and training documentation, processing invoices, purchase requisitions, assisting with presentations, special projects like financial modeling, tracking budgets, and market research.

Handle professional communication and representation both verbally and in writing for internal and external customers; assist with creating/editing presentations, proposals, SharePoint posts, and department announcements/emails.

Manage project tasks, leadership calendars, special events, staff action items, expense reports, check requests, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Execute research and data analysis tasks as required.

Gather information and prepare reports by contacting personnel across all organizational levels.

Perform backup receptionist duties, including greeting guests, directing phone calls, sorting mail and deliveries, maintaining office security, and monitoring visitor access.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Associate degree.

Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience in similar roles and responsibilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.

Employment Eligibility Requirements:

As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a US Person under ITAR.

Employment offers are contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug test, including cannabis screening.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $29.14 - $43.71 per hour (Mid-point: $36.42 per hour). Typically, hires are closer to the mid-point of the range. Various factors, such as experience, skills, education, and market conditions, will influence the actual salary offered.
