This position provides technical support for section and agency Information Technology (IT) and Data operations. Primary responsibilities include providing technical support and delivery of data and IT services to the agency and providing technical and operational support for the agency's cooperative agreement with the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS.) Functions include coordinating IT access for the agency, administering accounts and templates within the federal system, creating, maintaining, distributing IT-related reference material, maintaining reference tools, monitoring/processing online form reports, assisting agency staff with IT issues, and providing support for the survey of occupational injuries and illnesses (SOII) and the census of fatal occupational injuries (CFOI.)

Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate level in state service.
Alternate Education and Experience
Departmental Technician 7
Completion of two years of college (60 semester or 90 term credits) may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Departmental Technician 8
Possession of a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Departmental Technician E9
Possession of a Bachelor's degree and one year of job-related experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
