Senior Software Engineer, Labs AI

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience with software development in Python

Experience in Machine Learning/AI Infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., Prompt Engineering, applications for ML, evaluations, post-training).

Experience designing and implementing autonomous, multi-step AI agents that use LLMs to reason, plan, and execute tasks.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and evaluate the next generation of software development agents using code-based Large Language Models (LLMs).

Work specifically on developing an AI agent for Stitch, an AI code agent optimized for creating high-quality, well-designed user interfaces.

Collaborate closely with software engineers, research scientists, and product managers to integrate LLM agents into new products and surfaces.

Translate research concepts and proto@types into scalable, and production-ready Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems.

Apply a solid understanding of software development practices, machine learning algorithms, and data engineering principles to drive project success.
