Our full-service clinical laboratory at HRMC operates 24/7, providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, pathology, and urinalysis. Serving both inpatients and outpatients, we offer routine and STAT testing, backed by a skilled team consisting of a board-certified pathologist, medical technologists and technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff. Committed to accuracy and timeliness, we deliver the critical results providers need to ensure the best possible patient care.

How you'll contribute

Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.

Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

Performs quality control testing.

Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.

Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and reports/documents results per organizational standards.

Collects samples and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities. Collects blood and studies blood samples used in transfusions.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state MLT ASCP, AMT or NCA license and possess an associate's degree in Applied Science or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college.Additional requirements include:

· Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

· ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

· One year of experience preferred

· ASLS certification preferred
