WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is Temporary, Hourly.
Office hours are typically Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm
Extended hours during the evening or the weekend may be required by business needs
A Remote (Home) office is required

Required to sit, view a computer screen, and utilize a keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time

POSITION SUMMARY:
Description:
In this role, the position will extend the capacity of the Accountability and Continuous Improvement unit through several accountability functions. This role will assist with the request to reconsider process associated with the accreditation process. Additionally, support will be provided to the School Improvement and Planning Team for the process that supports review of school and district improvement plans. This position will engage remotely using web based platforms to complete reviews of documents and collaborate with CDE staff to meet quality, programmatic and statutory expectations.
Duties:
Complete reviews for the Request to Reconsider including knowledge and fidelity to process, guidance and protocols.
Provide completed documents and associated documentation in support of the
Review Unified Improvement Plans (UIP) and develop feedback to Unified Improvement Plans that meets expectations outlined by School Improvement and Planning team.
Engage with processes to support quality reviews including participating in training, meet with coaches, tracking progress/requirements. May be asked to provide editorial or quality control support to ensure consistency and quality of UIP feedback.
Identify opportunities to improve the review process, quality of feedback, training and other aspects of the process.
Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years in education or related field (social sector, governance, policy, etc.)
Continuous improvement mindset with an openness to feedback and coaching
Strong analytical skills
