The primary purpose of this position is To serve as the IT Systems specialist responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing IT systems to align with the unique business requirements of customer organizations, encompassing project management, acquisitions oversight, risk management, and customer engagement. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in planning, overseeing, and executing GPC (Government Purchase Card) purchases in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Procedures. DUTY 3: Conduct Thorough System Requirements Review and Analysis. Demonstrate an advanced ability to perform comprehensive system requirements analysis with high autonomy independently. Take full responsibility for ensuring the seamless integration and alignment of all system components, including procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware, exercising a significant degree of autonomy Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This is a GG-11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions for the GS-2210, Information Technology (IT) Management Series (Alternative A). BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR EXPERIENCE: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate: GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. My experience includes knowledge of a wide range of IT principles, systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, and security methods and principles; knowledge of customers' business processes and operations to anticipate and refine functional requirements; knowledge of concepts and principles of sequencing actions, procurement techniques and requirements, and coordination requirements involved in project controls; knowledge of design tools, methods, and techniques as well as life cycle management concepts, cost benefit analysis, system architecture, integration techniques, and testing methods; and knowledge of customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to analyze requirements, develop acquisition strategies, and implement system enhancements.
