About the Role: Director of Nursing

As a Director of Nursing, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Hearthstone in Pella.

As a Director of Nursing, you will:

Lead and manage nursing department operations , ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations and high-quality service delivery.

Promote a resident-centered care environment , fostering independence and personalized care through team coaching and relationship-building.

Ensure clinical excellence and continuity of care , collaborating with other health service directors and overseeing care planning and coordination.

Drive team development and performance , leading hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching to support a high-performing team.

Monitor departmental efficiency and outcomes , managing staffing, safety, budgeting, and reporting to leadership on improvements and results.

Qualifications:

Licensed RN in Iowa , with a degree from an accredited School of Nursing

3-5 years of leadership experience in geriatric nursing administration required

Strong knowledge of regulations and clinical standards , with expertise in compliance and quality assurance

Proven ability to lead change , advocate for resident-directed care, and collaborate across internal and external teams
