Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Administrative Assistant for a client based in Lansing, MI. This person will be joining the human relations and community services team, acting as a vital resource hub that collaborates with other community agencies. Their key responsibility is to serve as the primary phone receptionist for the department by answering calls, listening to what is being requested, and referring questions to appropriate personnel. The role involves answering calls from individuals of diverse backgrounds, providing intake and referrals for those in need, and offering extensive customer service support. They will collaborate with and support a small team including the department leadership. Their responsibilities include clerical tasks, data entry, building spreadsheets and outreach materials such as flyers, and other day to day operations such as opening and closing the office. This position is onsite 5-days per week in Lansing, MI.

Compensation: $20-$24hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years professional experience in a Admin Assistant or Office Support role

Microsoft Office Suite software (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook ).

Ability to @type 45 wpm or higher.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a professional office environment null
