Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team for a 2nd shift position. This role involves programming with Cimatron and Powermill offline, working on CNC mills with Haas controls, and performing value-add machining on metal injection molded parts.

Responsibilities

Program new runs with CAD software and run the first part to prove out the programs.

Support the production floor by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of CNC programs.

Work on milling operations, including drilling holes and material reduction, on parts produced by metal injection molding.

Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality output.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in CNC programming with CAD software.

Proficiency in offline programming using Cimatron and Powermill.

Experience working with Haas controls on machining centers.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with EDM operations is a plus.

Familiarity with the @types of parts being programmed and their applications in various industries such as medical, defense, and aerospace.

Work Environment

The work environment is an air-conditioned plant equipped with 9 injection mold machines and several machining centers, including 2 Haas mills, 1 grinder, and 1 EDM. The team performs about 4-6 startups per day, involving mold changes and press calibration. Recently, 3 additional machining centers were added to accommodate increased workload. The operation is highly collaborative, with team members working closely from department heads to production employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. This position involves programming with Cimatron and Powermill offline, working with Haas controls on CNC mills, and contributing to value-add machining on parts made through metal injection molding. This is a 2nd-shift position with a work schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, offering overtime opportunities on Fridays.

This is a fully onsite position in PORT HURON,MI.
