Your day to day
Truly memorable restaurant experiences don't just come from delicious dishes, fine dining ,and exquisite ambiance. Which is why the InterContinental Seattle Bellevue is searching for a new Server confident in delivering unforgettable experiences through a warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond.
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Creating a warm and welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest's experience.
Work ing with your restaurant colleagues to offer a seamless food service.
Anticipat ing needs of both external and internal guests.
Deliver ing food along with natural, vivid description of food in a seamless manner.
Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up high standards with our signature flair.
Accurately closing guest checks, processing cash and credit card payments, appropriately settl ing complimentary items etc.
Helping with washing up and other kitchen duties when the team needs you .
Minimizing waste and keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents .
Take and deliver in-room dining orders accurately and promptly.
Set up trays or carts in guest rooms, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to service standards.
Working with Minbars in guest rooms, helping re fill them as needed.
Handle guest inquiries or special requests professionally and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service station.
Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly .
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What we need from you:
Prior serving experience required. Experience serving in a similar 4 or 5* environment preferred.
Must possess Valid Food Worker card and MAST permits.
Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner.
Possess the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Great communication - you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.
Exceptional people skills.
The compensation for this position is $18.28/hour + tips/gratuities. A Temporary Training Wage of $25.28 + tips/gratuities is currently in effect.
