Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacturing. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.
Catalent in Kansas City, MO is hiring an MS&T Coordinator. The Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MS&T) team will lead technical process support for the Kansas City operations, including the development of the package and process with clients through Manufacturing. The team consists of strong engineers, scientists, designers or qualified people to be technology transfer process owner to deliver excellent services to internal and external customers. The MS&T Coordinator will work cross-functionally with project managers, manufacturing, labels design and control, quality assurance, quality control, supply chain, and facilities departments to effectively transfer and maintain processes in the facility in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
This is a full-time on-site salaried position: Monday-Friday with standard day shift hours.

The Role:
Support MS&T team to design packaging components. This includes but is not limited to requirements documentation, component design with suppliers; ordering equipment tooling; material and bottle size analysis. Promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job
Ensure that changes to existing processes or the introduction of new processes are carried out and documented according to approved change control procedures and in compliance with cGMP requirements
Coordinate MS&T team projects ensuring correct technical requirements documentation generated. Monitor and assist with projects to ensure successful adherence and completion
Attend and produce minutes and actions for internal client meetings to support MS&T team and understand full scope requirements to generate required project requirements documentation
When acting as part of a MS&T team, provide information to MS&T on specific project requirements and deputize specific tasks in the MS&T's absence
Assist with departmental training and completion of training documentation and regular review of Standing Operating Procedures relating to your own areas of responsibility
Support Complaint & Deviation investigations and root cause analysis
Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science required. Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus
Minimum of two years of experience is required working with GMP equipment in manufacturing, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment
Minimum of two years of experience is required in customer service or related business area (i.e. Project Management, Manufacturing Operations, etc.)
Must have Project Management experience/skills, and must be familiar with GMP processes and manufacturing equipment
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Atrios CAD is a plus
Physical Requirements: On an average 8-hour day this position requires the ability to walk, sit and stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist height, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear, smell and lift up to 35 pounds. Specific vision requirements including reading of written documents, visual inspection of materials and use of computer monitor screen frequently
