Description

Nissha Medical Technologies is excited to be hiring for a full-time Staff Accountant at our New Richmond, WI location. This role is ideal for a well-rounded accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys a variety of responsibilities. The hours for this position are during core business hours, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Payroll (Lead):

Collect and track detailed time information

Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and on time

Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Coordinate with HR on employee changes, benefits, and deductions

Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end filings (e.g., W-2s, 941s)

Prepare reports to support audits, projects and other ad-hoc requests

Accounts Receivable (Lead):

Generate and issue customer invoices and statements

Monitor receivables, follow up on past-due accounts, and manage collections

Apply payments and reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger

Maintain accurate customer records and aging schedules

General Ledger:

Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation

Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations

Support financial reporting and audit preparation

Accounts Payable (Backup) :

Provide support for invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor communications

Step in during absences or high-volume periods to ensure timely AP operations

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3+ years of accounting experience with direct payroll and AR responsibilities

Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, NetSuite)

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Experience in ERP systems and automated payroll platforms

Knowledge of GAAP and payroll compliance regulations

Prior experience in a cross-functional accounting role
