In this position...
This position is responsible for all advanced global electrical architecture programs in support of the Company's key customer-facing tech features (i.e. Infotainment, Driver Assist, etc.). The role is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and control for all aspects of the electrical architecture programs. The role partners closely with engineering, program management, supply chain, and tech planning teams to drive financial performance, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll do...
Specific deliverables include:
Develop skill set / detailed understanding of the various technologies
Delivery of Contribution Cost & Investment Targets for program milestones through Job #1 with timely & high-quality financials
Support a cross-functional team in decision making through benchmarking and futuring affordable cost
Drive capital allocation prioritization decisions that create value for the enterprise through accurate and clear business cases. Lead ad hoc studies supporting vertical integration, global sourcing decisions, make versus buy scenarios, and capacity analysis
Support on-time sourcing and program timing delivery
Lead the preparation of management slides and other ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis
Support development of a platform Bill of Material for FNV3.X
Key interfaces include the Executive Finance Director for Product Development, VP of Technology Platform Programs and EV Systems, Executive Director of Tech Platforms, Director Feature Strategy, Purchasing Directors, PD vehicle program Finance teams, and the Investment Finance Director
PRESENT TEAM STRUCTURE: 2 LL6's, 3 GSR's
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
7+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong focus on operational partnering, physicals-based budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, or financial systems
Previous experience managing or leading a team

MBA or CPA (or equivalent)
Prior PD experience and / or PD systems (i.e. FEDEBoM)
Broad business mindset; can operate under a whitespace environment
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and advance multiple assignments concurrently and quickly
Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally
Proven leadership and management experience
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and influence stakeholders at various levels, including senior finance leadership
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar)
Good understanding of accounting principles & processes
Strong understanding of automotive industry, particularly in a global @context
