Position Summary
Requires direct supervision. Provides assistance to the sales work group in order to achieve assigned objectives. Assists in coordinating entities involved in the "inquiry to order" cycle phase completion. Communicates with others in the salesforce. Handles incoming customer calls for existing or new customers. Can be the initial point of contact for incoming customer calls.
Essential Functions
As a Sales Representative at NPK, you will be responsible for growing territories in the Southern Louisiana Region. Working closely with commercial and operational leadership, you will collaborate to define a winning strategy within your region and develop business from introduction to close. In the role, you will be able to directly fuel the fastest growing division in NPK, with ample opportunity for advancement. From initial contact to relationship development, field visits and executive presentations, this role experiences different challenges daily with plenty of reward and fun as part of the NPK Access Solutions family.

Exhibit ownership of assigned territory to nurture established accounts while also hunting for new business.
Constructively participate in reviews of performance to learn from wins, losses, and activities between.
Contribute to team analytics by providing timely and accurate input to better understand industry trends and future outlooks.
Work with all NPK teams and members, as required, to ensure a consistently positive customer experience and team success.
Continued personal growth of skills, acumen, and best practices through participation in sales meetings, trade shows, and company provided trainings.
Participate in and lead special projects to foster innovation and further expand NPK's competitive advantage.

Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required or 1-year related experience preferred
Exposure to CRM and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or educational equivalent. Entry level. Understanding of fundamental concepts of product and/or services. Excellent communication skills. Good judgment and team skills. Customer Service experience preferred.
